The 26th Annual Rancho Cordova 4th of July
Lather on some sunscreen. Dust off the lawn chair and head over to Coloma Road. It's time for the Rancho Cordova  Fourth of July Parade, sponsored by the Rancho Cordova Kiwanis Club.

Rancho Cordova 's Hometown Parade is famous for its hometown flavor. So don't be surprised if you see your next door neighbor decked out in a wacky Uncle Sam get-up for the trip down Coloma.

The parade is also famous for being a sizzler. Whether you're in the parade or just planning to watch, bring along some water.
Be in the Parade
While fun to watch it's also fun to be in the parade. Submit your application today!
  • Limited to the first 100 Entries
  • Private Entry Fee $10
  • Commercial Entry Fee $25

Parade participants should register and begin organizing between 8 and 9 a.m. at the Rancho Cordova Neighborhood Center, located at the corner of McGregor Drive and Coloma Road.

Children younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or supervisor at all times.
Parade Logistics
Beginning on Coloma Road at Cordova Lane, the parade proceeds west to Chase
Drive and into the Cordova High School parking lot. Parents should plan to pick up their children at Mills Middle School following the parade. The Parade will NOT enter Hagan Park.

While the parade begins at McGregor, parade entries join the procession at both the Cordova Neighborhood Church and the Cordova Church of Christ. Therefore, if you want to see it all, the best seats will be between Cordova Church of Christ and Hagan Park .

A judge's reviewing stand will be set up near Casa Coloma Convalescent Home. There, parade-watchers will be able to catch the quick presentations some participants provide.
Thank a Kiwanian!
The Rancho Cordova Kiwanis Club heads up the parade, but it takes more than just one Kiwanian to make this extravagant Rancho Cordova tradition roll. You will be able to thank the small army of Kiwanians, all wearing their blue shirts, who will be scurrying up and down the parade route, for all the hard work it takes to launch this rolling party.

So, forward, march! It's the Rancho Cordova 4th of July Parade, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 3.
